Pugnochiuso Resort - Hotel del Faro

Il Faro hotel is immersed in a breathtaking landscape characterised by a mixture of colours and sounds produced by the sea, which seeps among the rocks up to the foot of the age-old and coloured Mediterranean scrub forest, which can be admired from the Hall, the restaurant hall and from the small balcony of one room.

Location

This accommodation facility is placed in Pugnochiuso, a locality on the Gargano coast between Vieste and Mattinata, in the heart of the National Park of Gargano, on the limit with the Umbrian Forest. This resort is 20km from Vieste, 28km from Mattinata, 80km from Foggia, and 140km from Bari.

Rooms

This hotel, which was renovated over the years, has 175 rooms among which 5 Luxury Suites, 2 Junior Suites, 2 Luxury Rooms, 39 Superior, and 127 Standard Rooms. They are double rooms (with bathrooms equipped for disabled people), triple rooms, communicating rooms and quadruple rooms. Standard Rooms, almost all with sea view, are provided with: bathroom with shower (some with bath), air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Sky, mini bar, hair-dryer, safe, equipped panoramic balcony. Superior Rooms, besides the comforts of the standard, also have: an exclusive sea view, a modern and elegant furnishing, several accessories and additional services, among which LCD TV, breakfast served at Belvedere Restaurant, double-day cleaning, and reserved table with sea view at La Baia Restaurant. Luxury Suites, Junior Suites and Luxury Rooms, besides the comforts and services of the Superior Rooms, have larger spaces, a modern furniture, LCD-TV with Sound Stereo and Cinema, Jacuzzi, free entrance to Belvedere Restaurant with no supplement (service available in July and August).

Services&Amenities

Bar, restaurant, TV lounge, Wi-Fi access, bar with live piano music in the evenings, freshwater swimming pool, equipped sun-roof, fitness centre (personal trainer on demand and on payment). At the entry of the Resort, 2 big unattended internal parking lots are available for the guests. An all-day available shuttle bus service (from 08:00am to 01:00am) connecting the main areas of the Resort is at the guests' disposal. The Resort has two gravel beaches where one can hire sunshade parasols, beach chairs, deckchairs and nautical equipments according to availability. This Resort also has two swimming pools with sea water, an Olympic swimming pool and another swimming pool with an area for children; eight-men football grass court, table tennis, canoes, archery, 3 multiple use courts (tennis/volleyball/five-a-side football), beach-volley field, water polo. Payment services: windsurfing, sailing and 5 lit clay tennis courts. Activities with free group sport courses (or individual on payment), evening shows, piano bar, parties and thematic evenings, social tournaments, evening dance, mini and junior clubs 4 to 17 years. All the above-mentioned services and amenities (in a collective and organized formula) are available in the period from June 5th to September 26th. In the resort a surgery (open from June to September), a bar, a newsstand, some shops, a beauty centre, a cash dispenser and a mini market are also found.

Restaurant

International breakfast with an exclusive sea view. Lunch and dinner are served at the buffet of the new La Baia restaurant, with beverages included (house wine and mineral water). As an alternative the à la carte restaurant Il Belvedere is available upon reservation and with extra charge in July and August. A snack service is available (on payment) throughout the day in our bars or one can go for a quick lunch at the Belvedere restaurant on the edge of the swimming pool. The opening times of the restaurants and services allow to spend some more relaxing holidays. Our wine cellar has a wide selection of superior wines which come up to the expectations of the most demanding palates. Some themed dinners are organised throughout the week thus enriching the gastronomical offer and integrating the already rich and diversified animation programme.
