Trulli Sannicola

Sannicola is a town situated on both sides of the greenhouses of Salento, a few km from Gallipoli. It is still a predominantly agricultural economy, despite the existence of some businesses. Up to 1908 Sannicola was a fraction of the city of Gallipoli. The heart is made of Piazza della Repubblica, the main square of the village, which overlooks the Palazzo Comunale, built in 1922 (ground floor) and completed several years later (first floor). Very close to Piazza della Repubblica is the marble staircase (1964) with the War Memorial, which leads to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, once dedicated to St. Nicholas. Near Lido Sannicola are Conchiglie, Padula Bianca and Rivabella, bathed by the clear waters of the Ionian. In these places there are beautiful beaches crowned by dune vegetation on which the typical Mediterranean scrub, but there are also rocky, preferred by some bathers.

Beautiful Trulli in Sannicola's land. The Central one has more than 500 years, completely built in stone, dry, is naturally cool and can accommodate 2 people (twin beds or double bed). It has a bathroom outside. The Trullo on the left sidehas a double bedroom a single bed and sofa bed (4-5 people). The trullo on the right hand has a large kitchen, large bathroom with shower and an additional sofa bed. The context is therefore ideal for 6-7 people.
