From August 23 to 27, 2010, the city of Castellana Grotte, in the province of Bari will organize the fist edition of the "Castellana Music Festival", under the artistic direction of "Officina Musicale" and of the "Associazione Culturale Musicale Nino Rota" and in collaboration with the "LM Communication" advertising agency.
The manifestation, which will liven up the southeast of the province of Bari, will combine international music and local talents.
The main stage will be situated in the Largo Leone Magno, in front of the Chiesa Matrice, on the lovely place of the old center.
On August 23, the festival will be inaugurated by the local songwriter Davide Santorsola, who is also a famous pianist as well as the artistic director of the Orchestra Jazz del Politecnico of Bari.
