On august 21, 2010 in Erchie, province of Brindisi, the "Stella di Natale" committee, in collaboration with the city of Erchie, will organize the seventh edition of the "Sagra della frisa" within the parco delle Rimembranze.
The manifestation aims at promoting one of the typical products, the "frisa", thanks to tastings, painting exhibitions, theater and music. A true gastronomical and cultural festival. A painting exhibition entitled "Il Grano: tra tradizioni e prodotti tipici locali" will also be organized. The manifestation will be accompanied by music, dancings and the concert of the MALARAZZA. The story of the "frisa", from its origins up to now, will be presented at the theater.
