On July 23, 24, 25 and 26, 2010, the Pro Loco of Castri di Lecce, in the province of Lecce, will organize the tenth edition of “Marangiane in festa”, the 2010 celebration of aubergines.
There will be 4 days of celebrations based on flavors and other local products, during which aubergines will be the protagonist.
This delicious vegetable can be tasted in various different ways and each night, a new recipe will be offered.
Horse meat grillings and other meats will be also offered as well as the famous negroamaro wine to accompany all the dishes.
The celebration will continue until late with dance and music.
