On July 2, 3 and 4, Martignano, in the province of Lecce, will organize the XIXth edition of the celebration of the grika salad and sausages.
The Queen of the celebration will be the grika salad, which is characterized by the fact that each ingredient has to come from the Salentinian Greece's biological culture.
The celebration is the occasion to well inform participants. An awareness meeting about the km 0 production will officially open the 2010 manifestation.
Various stands will be installed where it will be possible to taste typical products.
Various guided visits will also be organized, for example one to the Palmieri Touristic Park, as well as some musical shows.
The cooking manifestation is organized by the Pro Loco of Martignano and is supported by the Amministrazione Comunale and the Assoimpresa Martignano, in collaboration with the Parco Turistico Culturale Palmieri, the Gruppo Donatori di Sangue Fratres di Martignano and the Club Salento Giallorosso di Martignano.
