From July 17 to August 1st 2010, the eight edition of the International short films festival, entitled Salento Finibus Terrae, will take place in San Vito dei Normanni, in the province of Brindisi, as well as in other villages of the Salento.
The film festival, thought and organized by Romeo Conti, will visit 7 different cities and welcome more than 30 special guests, with an international offer of more than 160 works from 25 different nationalities.
The « Salentine places » will be the cinematographic locations of the projections, of other events and of the giving of the awards to actors and directors.
The aim of the festival is to tell the different faces of the reality, through the images of distant people and countries and through the portraits of men and women from the entire world.
The manifestation is divided into 11 categories : "Animation", "Environment", "Children World", "Dance and music", "Laboratory of Cinema", "Short short films", "Panorama of short films about Puglia", "Human rights", "Thriller - horror - noir", "World short films" e "Italian short films".
For each section, a winner as best film, best production and best actors will be chosen.
