On May 30, 2010, the twelfth edition of the Opened Wine Cellars event will take place in Puglia, from Daunia to Salento! This is an event dedicated to wines and their territories of production.
The manifestation, organized by the Movimento Turismo del Vino and supported by the assessorato alle Risorse Agroalimentari della Regione Puglia, will begin at 10am and will last till the night.
Free visit to the cellar wines, walks by the vineyards and wine tastings will be the main event of the day, as well as other culture and entertaining events.
Laboratories and mini-classes will be organized for experts and enthusiasts by sommeliers and enologists.
Vino e Arte is one of the main event of this edition. Cellar wines which participates at the event will show a film about the finalist of the « Passaporto di Bacco », a competition of labels, as well as the photos of the «Rito della vendemmia» report (by Marco Pavan).
Another appointment is Vino, pane e rose : within the cellar wines, wine tastings will be accompanied by different types of bread, and buying the chalice, you will be offered a rose.
With the collaboration of the Movimento Turismo dell'Olio, the extra virgin olive oil will also be at the center of the event.
At last, the tombola of the Chalice Vetro e Vinci will also be organized: buying the chalice (€5), you will be able to freely taste the wines but also to participate to the draw of wines.
