Until July 12, 2010, the exhibition entitled “Piranesi”, etchings by Giovanni Battista e Francesco Piranesi, in the Rare Books Collection of the British School at Rome, will take place within the Palazzo Granafei – Nervagna in Brindisi.
99 incisions of Giovanni Battista and Francesco Piranesi, which come from the British School at Rome, are presented. All the incisions, which were recently cleaned and restored, approach the theme of Roma, its views, the Roman antiquities, buildings and symbolic sites of the city.
The exhibition is visible each day, except on Mondays, from 10am to 01pm and from 05pm to 08pm.
