On May 29 and 30, 2010, the 2010 Celebration of Cherries will take place in Conversano, province of Bari. Indeed, cherries are the main local production.
Stands will be installed in the street that runs the medieval castle of the Conti Acquaviva D'Aragona.
The receipts of the manifestation will be given to the Telethon.
Next week-end (on May 22 and 23), the celebration will have a prologue in Bari, which will also be dedicated to solidarity.
On June 10, at 01pm, a tasting of cherries from Conversano will be offered to Senators and journalists within the Senato della Repubblica in Roma.
