Until May 9, 2010, the manifestation entitled « MUSEO E MEMORIA STORICA: Tratturi, transumanza e paesaggio nell'Alto Tavoliere » will take place in San Severo (province of Foggia). It will be hosted by the MAT, Museo dell'Alto Tavoliere, of San Severo, which participates in the XIIth Culture Week. This year is the fifth consecutive year that San Severo and the MAT participate in the manifestation.
The event offers a program which aims at promoting the permanent collection of the Museum as well as the historic territory of the Alto Tavoliere, mainly represented by « transhumances ».
These landscapes are also described with an exhibition of contemporary arts and of prestigious maps of San Severo and the Tavoliere, which come from the Archivio di Stato di Foggia.
For children, some play activities and lessons-concerts.
Besides, it will also be possible to some guided itineraries along the Tratturo Regio "L'Aquila – Foggia" among nature, traditions and archeology.
