On April 18, 2010, the first edition of Conversano, tra terre, torri, giardini e ciliegeti in fiore will take place in Conversano, province of Bari. The manifestation, organized by the Associazione Culturale "I
Collegia" and by the "ASD Pugliavventura", in collaboration with Conversano, aims at promoting the cultural, artistic and environmental resources of the city.
The event is based on several guided visits, directed by the Pro Loco (reservation at + 39 080/4951228).
At 8am, the inscriptions to the courses 1,2,3 and 5, will take place within the Ufficio di Informazione e Accoglienza Turistica (IAT), situated within the Torre dodecagonale.
At 9am, the inscriptions to the course number 4 will take place at the Palazzetto dello Sport, largo S. Giacomo. Visits will start at 10am.
Here are the different courses :
Course 1 : a course by foot within the old center, among past testimonies, history and art. The inscription is compulsory and free.
Course 2 : a 10-kilometer bicycle course (ideal for families) and visits to rural churches and lakes. Compulsory inscription : € 2.
Course 3 : a 17-kilometer mountain bike course on the traces of ancient warriors and past testimonies. Compulsory inscription : € 2.
Course 4 : an horse-riding touristic course (15 km). The inscription is compulsory.
Course 5 : a 10-kilometer course in carts. The inscription is compulsory.
