On March 30, 2010, the Luci e suoni a levante festival started within the Cattedrale di Molfetta (Bari), supported by the Fondazione Musicale Vincenzo Maria Valente.

The festival, which will take place within exceptional sites, such as the Cattedrale, the Anfiteatro di Ponente, the lungomare and the Banchina San Domenico, the chiostro della Fabbrica di San Domenico, will have as a protagonist the pianists Aldo Ciccolini, Massimo Lopez and the Big Band Jazz Company, which will be directed by Gabriele Comeglio, which will offer a tribute to Frank Sinatra, BB King and his band, Ray Gelato, Mario Biondi, Malika Ayane and Fiorella Mannoia.

The manifestation will end on October 8, 2010 with the stage-concert of Steve Pots and Tiziana Ghiglioni.
