Once again, the Passion will be lived in Gallipoli with numerous events and manifestations, that will occur from March 26, April 2 and 3, 2010.
On March 26 will take place the Addolorata's Friday.
On April 2, at 05pm, day of Good Friday, the Processions of the Mysteries and of the Christ's grave will take place, as one of the most suggestive and followed religious procession of the region. From the Good Friday's sunset to the first hours of the Good Saturday's night, the statues of the Misteri Dolorosi will be taken in procession.
On Good Saturday's dawn, the Procession of Maria Desolata will be organized by the Confraternita di S. Maria della Purità. A group of veiled people, wearing the monk's robe and the white veil, will guide the statues of Cristo Morto and Maria Desolata.
