Tomorrow, January 17, 2010, the festivities held in honor of San Ciro will begin in Grottaglie, province of Taranto, by the procession that brings the saint statue from the dei Paolotti Church to the Madre church.
The week will be characterized by the participation of the sanctimonious persons to the Novena and the Holy Mass.
The heart of the events will happen on January 30, 2010 at 07pm, when will be blessed and then lit the Foc'ra, a big structure made of wood and vine shoots, with the head of the saint on top.
The festivities will end up by the procession of January 31, 2010, which brings back the saint to the dei Paolotti Church.
