"The machines of Leonardo da Vinci within the hall of Gian Giacomo of Acaya" is the title of the exhibition settled in the Acaya Castle of Vernole, province of Lecce, which will be visible until January 20, 2010.
More than 40 exact reproductions by Giuseppe Vernole, made from drawings and projects of Leonardo da Vinci are displayed : flying machines, weapons and other sophisticated devices invented by the scientist born in Florence.
The idea of realizing such an exhibition comes from the Creattivamens association of Galatone (Lecce).
The exhibition is not only destined for the enthusiasts of da Vinci, but also for all the curious people, and especially for the students.
The visually handicapped person can also benefit from the exhibition thanks to a specific tactile route.
