Exhibition of world cribs in Lecce

The International Museum of the Nativity in Bethlehem, inaugurated on a UNESCO idea on December 24, 1999, in order to celebrate the 2000 years of Jesus' birth, organizes each year numerous initiatives, such as an interesting enough touring exhibition.
About 250 cribs, chosen among the most precious in the world, are hosted in cites as important as : Verona, Paris, Lublin (Poland), Milan, Ljubljana (Slovenia), Assisi and Rijeka (Croatia).
For this year, among all candidatures, the city of Lecce was elected.
The exhibition, realized in collaboration with the Foundation Verona per l'Arte, is hosted at he first floor of the Charles V Castle, until February 7, 2010.
The particular display of the cribs as well as the lights, sounds and colors very suggestive transform this exhibition in a true show.
The objective of the manifestation, moreover promoting the Museum and the Arts of Cribs, is to spread a peaceful message of fraternity among people.
The entrance is €5 for adults, €2 for children and scholar groups, €3 for groups and for those who are over 65.

The exhibition is open from 09am to 13pm and from 16.30pm to 20.30pm.
